About Mission TEJAS
India is moving toward a powerful goal: to become a fully developed, innovation-led nation by 2047. At the heart of this mission are the minds and dreams of millions of children in government schools, where potential is limitless.
While initiatives like Atal Tinkering Labs (ATL) have made progress, a significant gap remains. In Telangana, only a fraction of schools have ATL access. This leaves thousands of students, especially from rural and tribal regions, waiting for their first chance to explore robotics, AI, or the joy of building something with their own hands.
That's why Mission TEJAS (Telangana Jnana Avishkarana Sankalpam) was born—a vision to ignite the spirit of inquiry and discovery in every student. Its flagship initiative, the Virtual Tinkering Lab (VTL), is a digital-first ecosystem designed to be universal, inclusive, and scalable, ensuring no student is left behind.
